Film Description

After sixteen years together and two children, François and Julie decide to open their relationship. Over the course of several months, we follow their hesitant, often disarming attempts to hold on to what they’ve built while venturing into new emotional territory. Told in six chapters, the film charts their various “experiments” in love and the ripples these send through their bond. Follies is a tender, awkward, and irresistibly funny portrait of the modern couple — one of the most delightful relationship comedies of the year.
