Cluj, 2025. A Romanian homeless man commits suicide while a Hungarian bailiff (Orsolya – Eszter Tompa) tries to persuade him to leave the illegally occupied cellar slated for a new luxury hotel. Orsolya collapses, wandering the city driven by guilt. As she repeatedly recounts her story to colleagues, friends, and acquaintances, the absurd encounters paint a portrait of a tension-filled society in which everyone seeks self-justification. Golden Bear and two-time Silver Bear winner Radu Jude (Aferim!, Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn) is one of the most original voices of contemporary Eastern European auteur cinema. His latest film is a grotesque tragicomedy about the moral crisis of today’s Central Europe.
